Loraine Marie Bernard, passed away at her home 3513 Sockeye Lane, Las Vegas, NV on Thursday, April 30, 2015 of natural causes. A resident f Las Vegas for the past 31 years and a former resident of St. Clair, Michigan. She was born July 13, 1938 om St Clair, Michigan. She attended St. Catherine High School. She married Frederick H. Bernard on November 4, 1967. She was a housewife and did accounting for the family business. She enjoyed baking, embroidering and camping with her family.
She is survived by her sister, Marie Wilcocks of Pointe Edwards, Ontario, Canada, and James Frieburger of St. Clair Shores, Michigan. She has a son David H Bernard; a daughter Carol M. Pitchios; and 3 grandchildren Cody C. Pitchios, Kira M Pitchios, and Kalie A. Pitchios all reside in Las Vegas; also several nieces and nephews including Rick Wilcokcs, Mike Wilcocks, Chris Wilcocks, and Debra A Nutt.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Leo Frieburger and Doris Frieburger.
She was cremated at Bunker Memorial Garden on Thursday, May 7, 2015. The family is holding a Celebration of Life ceremony on May 17, 2015 at her daughters home 4489 Ridgeville St, Las Vegas, NV from 3-5 pm for those who would like to attend or send their regards to the family.
