Lois V. Clapsaddle age 87 of Imlay City and formerly of Brown City died Apr 5, 2015. She was born on Mar 19, 1928 in Duluth, MN to Arvo and Ethel Olson. She graduated from Brown City High School Class of 1946. She married Max Clapsaddle at the West Goodland Church on Apr 17, 1946. A homemaker, housewife, and mother, Lois raised four children. She was a long time member of the Omard United Methodist Church, the United Methodist Women and the Flynn Township Seniors. She loved to bake and take care of people. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Max Clapsaddle, four children; Linda (Leland) Bartle, Brent Clapsaddle, Lori (Richard) Quandt, Renee (Duane) Dewey, 8 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and a great great child. She was preceded in death by her parents and her three sisters; Donna Whitehead, Marlene McKellips, and Judi Mason, a sister in law Udeen Swain, 2 brothers Roland Mason and PH Whitehead. Funeral services will be held at the Omard United Methodist Church at 11am. Visitation and viewing will be Tue from 2-8pm at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City. Burial will be in Omard Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to United Hospice of Marlette.
