Mrs. Lois M. Sutherby, 81, of Kalkaska, died Tue, Dec 6, 1994, at her home.
Mrs. Sutherby moved to Kalkaska County in 1975 from Lincoln Park. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, the Lydia Circle, and the Coldsprings-Excelsior Taxpayers Association.
Born in Trenton on May 4, 1913, she was the daughter of Arthur and Myrtle Vickery Sachs. On Jan 20, 1934, in Trenton, she was married to J. Dallas Sutherby who survives.
Also surviving are one son, James N. Sutherby of Sarasota, FL; one daughter, Sharon M Newell of Kalkaska; one brother, Russell Sachs of Taylor; one sister, Gail Kay of Fresno, CA; seven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Two brothers, Ralph and Edwin, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Fri, Dec 9, 1994, at the St. Paul Lutheran Church. Rev. Ted Turanski officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
