Lloyd R. Way, 86, died July 15, 2003, at his home in Bloomfield Hills.
He was born Feb. 11, 1917, in Memphis, Tenn.
Mr. Way had lived in Bloomfield Hills for the past six years and was a former resident of Algonac, Livonia and Kalkaska. He retired in 1979 as plant superintendent for Lear Corp. after 44 years. He was a private pilot, flying his seaplane out of the Detroit Seaplane Base, was an active Mason with Marine City Lodge F&AM, and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his son, Kenneth L. (Marilyn) Way; grand- children, Jennifer (Scott) Holman, Julie (Steve) Rupp and David Way; great-grandchildren, Jack, Kate, James, Paul and Elizabeth.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Hazel E., in 2001.
Funeral services were held July 18 at A.J. Desmond & Sons Funeral Home, Troy. Interment was at White Chapel Cemetery, Troy.
