Linda L Benoit, 62, of Kalkaska, passed away on Nov 13, 2004, with her family by her side at home. Born on Feb 20, 1942, in Fletcher, OH, she was the daughter of Jesse Mable Hamilton.
Linda married Robert V. Benoit Sr. on Jun 22, 1963, in Jenison. Bob served in the US Coast Guard for 20 years. This would require a move every three years which enabled them to see a lot of the country and meet many new friends. Linda and Bob have been residents of Kalkaska for the past 20 years. She was a member of Mt Zion Church of God in South Boardman.
Linda loved her family immensely and especially enjoyed being around her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by her husband of 41 years, Bob; her children, Cindy (Bill) Krupinski of Kalkaska, Tammy (Bob) Miller of Buena Park, CA, Bob Benoig Jr of Kalkaska, Maurice (Kim) Benoit of Fife Lake, and Anderess (Tim) Wagenschutz of Kalkaska; 20 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; her siblings, Ronald (Adella) Hamilton of Caledonia, Dorothy Dykhonse of Carson City, Evelyn Wysocki of Jenison, and Lois Smith of Howard City.
Preceding Linda in death were her parents and her sister, Peggy Lauer.
Her funeral service is on Wed, Nov 17, at 11 am at Wolfe Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Zeeryp officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
