Mrs. Linda L Woodhams, 60, a lifelong resident of Kalkaska, died Fri, Dec 25, 1998, at her home.
A 1955 graduate of Kalkaska High School, Linda formerly was employed as an officer of the Grayling State Bank.
She also worked as a bus driver for Kalkaska Public Schools and an office professional for CH&P Trucking Division prior to her retirement. She was a member of the Kalkaska County Farm Bureau, and enjoyed gardening and painting.
Born in Kalkaska County on Mar 29, 1938, she was the daughter of Edwin Fred and Clara may (Culliton) Gibbons. On Dec 4, 1976, in Kalkaska, she was united in marriage with Martin, who survives.
Also surviving are daughter Sharon (Barry) Becker of Cassopolis; stepson Michael (Barbara) of Kalkaska; stepdaughters Michelle (Bob) Patton of Gladwin and Mona Kay Woodhams of Holt; brothers Pat (Denise) Gibbons of St. Cloud, FL, and Edwin (Bethel) Gibbons of Rapid River; sisters Norberta Hatley of Kalkaska and several grandchildren.
Brother Carl, sister Clara May and stepdaughter Marcia Smires preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Dec 29 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Pastor David Rosenberg officiated.
Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
