Mrs. Lillie L. Hanna, 70, of 217 W. Ninth, Traverse City, died unexpectedly Sun afternoon at the home of a son, Julius, at Fremont.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30pm Wed at Martinson funeral home in Traverse City, Rev. Vernon Bliss officiating, with burial in Oakwood cemetery.
Mrs. Hanna was born Aug 8, 1900, on Old Mission peninsula, the daughter of Charles and Grace Christopher, was a lifelong resident of the area and was a member of Traverse City Seventh Day Adventist Church.
On Nov 24, 1921 she was married to Ray Hanna, who died May 11, 1968.
Surviving are: two sons, Julius and Ray Jr. of Wadsworth, O.; five daughters, Mrs. Virginia McCrea, Mrs. Albert (Ellen) Clark and Mrs. Merrill (Nellie) Milks all of Traverse City, Mrs. Minnie Herington of Whitehall and Mrs. Ernest (Mabel) Hentchel of Muskegon; 43 grandchildren; and 33 great grandchildren.
Also surviving are: three sisters, Mrs. Amy Ghastin of Traverse City, and Mrs. Thomas Bee Sr., and Mrs. Lawrence Mlujeak of Old Misison Peninsula; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
