Mrs. Lillian B. Morris, 83, of Kalkaska, died Tue, May 20, 1997, at Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility in Bellaire.
Mrs. Morris had been a lifelong resident of the Kalkaska area, and had worked as a waitress at the L & R Restaurant. She enjoyed crocheting, sewing, and gardening.
Mrs. Morris was born in Kalkaska County on Apr 19, 1914, to Albert and Nellie Wildfong Triplett. She married Donald Morris in 1946, in Kalkaska, and he preceded her in death on Jan 2, 1960.
Surviving are sons Ernest (Kathy) Smith and Duane (Diana) Colbath, both of Mancelona, Marion (Tammy) Cairns of CA, and Donald (Elaine) Morris of Kalkaska; daughter Nellie (Kenneth) Rohde of Mancelona; brother Franklin Triplett of Kalkaska; sister Cora Hittle of Bad Axe; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Brothers Lee and John, sisters Nancy and Hattie, and four grandchildren preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Fri, May 23, at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev. Max Tracey officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska. Memorial contributions may be made to Meadow Brook Medical Care Facility or the Alzheimer's Society.
