Lila A. (Battenfield) VanTuinen, aged 72, of Byron Center has passed through this life on Mon, Mar 6, 1995. She was preceded in death by her former husband Glenn H. Battenfield. She is survived by her husband , Donald J. VanTuinen; her children, Gail (Dennis) Zartman of Atlanta, GA, Merry (Larry) VanVuuren, Johnny (Alesia) Battenfield, Scott Battenfield, Donald Jr. (Melanie) VanTuinen, Robert (Nick) VanTuinen, Sue VanTuinen, and Billy Childs; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her sister, Ruth (Norm) Schultz of Gowen, MI; her brothers in law, Harold VanTuinen and his friend, Betty Ridl, Kenneth (Doris) VanTuinen of FL, Henry (Sarah) VanTuinen of MS, and Albert (Donna) VanTuinen of TX; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11am Thu from the Byron Center Chapel of Cook Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Pikey officiating. Visitation hours will be held 2-4 and 7-9pm Wed. Interment Floral View Memorial Gardens.
