Lewis Andrew Leabo, 54, of 238 E. 11th Street, passed away Sun at Munson Medical Center after a short illness.
Surviving are his wife, Marie, one daughter Lynn Louise, at home; three other children, Betty, Ruby, and Maxine; two brothers, Peter Jr. of Suttons Bay, Andrew of IN; five sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Bertha) Bonnet of Birmingham, MI, Mrs. Vincent (Theresa) Sparks of Detroit, Mrs. Earl (Helen) Priest, Mrs. Norman (Marjorie) Oscar and Mrs. Leonard (Dolores) Mikowski, all of Suttons Bay; 10 grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Preceding him in death were his parents and 1 brothers, Albert.
Mr. Leabo was born May 4, 1918, at Suttons Bay. On May 25, 1968, he married the former Marie Courtad who survives. He was a lifelong resident of the Traverse City area, a member of St. Frances Catholic Church. The Fraternal Order of Eagles and the Cherryland Beagles Club. He was employed as a salesman with the Kraus Paint Co., Traverse City.
Funeral services will be held Tue at 11am at St. Francis Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. Klimowicz officiating. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 this evening at the Martinson Funeral Home, where friends may call. Interment will be in Grand Traverse Memorial Gardens.
