Leslie D. Long, 42, of Buffalo, WY, formerly of Kalkaska, passed away on Jul 9, 2005, in Billings, MT, as a result of a motorcycle accident.
Born on Mar 10, 1963, in Traverse City, he is toe son of Clarence and Virginia Long. Les worked as a supervisor for Continental Industries in Sheridan, WY. He helped coach a variety of youth sports. He loved rock climbing, restoring cards, sports, boating, and his kids.
Les had just moved to Wyoming a year ago from Kalkaska.
Surviving Les is his loving companion, Robbin Walter; children, Brandi Long and David Long both of Kalkaska, and Junior Bronson of FL; step children, Brittani Mitchell of Fayetteville, GA, Jennesi Walter of Bufffalo, Danielle Walter and McKensie Walter; one granddaughter, Kaelynne Bronson of FL; parents, Clarence and Virginia Long of Kalkaska; sisters, Marsha Becker and Leanna Long of Kalkaska, Charlotte Fisher of Brooklyn and Wanda Baggs of Kalkaska; and brother Dale Long of Connecticut.
Visitation was held on Thu, Jul 14, from 7 to 9 pm at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. A funeral service was on Fri, Jul 15, at 2 pm at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mark McCool of the Antrim Church of Christ officiating. Interment will be at Excelsior Township Cemetery.
