Leroy Orvel Ingersoll, 89, of Fife Lake, passed away on Jan 15, 2007, at Munson Medical Center. He was born on Dec 4, 1917 in Fife Lake, the son of Charles and Mary (Monhead) Ingersoll.
Leroy married Minnie McLeod Dec 8, 1995, in Cadillac.
Leroy is survived by his wife Minnie; his children, Evelynne (Frank) Dean of Kingsley, Bill (Pat) Ingersoll of South Boardman, Dorothy (Earl) Abeare, Vivian Hejnal, and Estella (Earl) Soderman all of Fife Lake; stepchidlren, Kay Emery, Joe Emery, and Bruce Emery all of Manton; 13 grandchildren; 28 great grandchidlren; and eight great great grandchildren.
Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife and mother of his children, Yeteve Ingersoll; sisters, Lillian and Melissa Beckwith; and great grandson, David.
Leroy retired from the Department of Natural Resources in 1981 after 15 years of service.
Funeral services were held on Thu, Jan 18 at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home in Kalkaska with Pastor Dan Ingersoll officiating from Eden Bible Church. Burial will be at Garfield Township Cemetery.
