Leonard Martin Beulla, age 96, of Sandusky passed away on Friday, October 20, 2023 at United Hospice Services of Marlette Regional Hospital.
He was born November 13, 1926 in Tyre, MI to the late August and Dorothy (Kubacki) Beulla. Leonard served in the U.S. Army from 1950-1952 during the Korean War. He worked at Yale Rubber in Sandusky for 42 years. Leonard did carpentry work for churches and remodeling of homes on the side until he was 86 years old. He was an active member of the First United Methodist Church in Sandusky. Leonard loved traveling to foreign Countries.
Leonard is survived by his children, Leonard (Bonnie) Beulla and Wendy (Clark) Colter; step children, Tom Jackson and Norene (Ken) Schreck; sister, Lanra-Grace Beulla Brown; grandchildren, Jennifer, Michelle, Michael, Cheri, and Tracy; and eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Beulla; parents, August and Dorothy Beulla; brother, Martin Beulla; sister, Joann Beulla; daughters in law, Carolyn Jackson; and granddaughter, Shelli Ross.
The family will receive visitors from 10 am – 12 Noon on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Sandusky.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Marsh Funeral Chapel, Sandusky with Pastor Lisa Clark officiating.
Burial will take place in Moore Township Cemetery.
