Leila “Lee” Gillette (Verhoeks), aged 80, of Lake Park, FL, formerly of Grand Rapids, passed away Tue, Dec 11,2001, following a brief illness. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur W. Gillette, retired from Trainmaster with the Chesapeake and Ohio Railroad. Surviving are her sister, Lois Katz of Grand Rapids; daughter, Gail Gillette Corson of Palm Beach Gardens, FL; son, Jim and Pam Gillette of Ada; and grandchildren, Jamie and Brad Gillette. She was a wonderful mother, sister, and grandmother and will be greatly missed by all those who loved her. There will be no funeral service.
