Lee J. Miller, 72, of South Boardman, a retired Pontiac Motors employee, died suddenly, Wed afternoon, October 28, 1981, at the Kalkaska Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Kalkaska County on May 31, 1909, the son of John and Ida Lindsey Miller. He married Clara Young in Clarkson on Jul 3, 1958. In 1969, he returned to the South Boardman area from Pontiac.
Surviving are his wife, Clara; three sons, Glenn and Ivan both of South Boardman, and Ray of Grawn; two daughters, Mrs. Sandra Hall of LA, and Mrs. Karen McNamara of South Boardman; three step sons, Gary Young of Columbiaville, Russell Young of Monroe, and William Young of Pontiac; three step daughters, Mrs. Patricia Miller of South Boardman, Mrs. Janet Klann of Suttons Bay, and Mrs. Christine Balcer of GA; one sister, Mrs. Althea Huff of Cadillac; 28 grandchildren; and three great grandsons.
One daughter, Linda Miller, preceded him in death.
Funeral services were held Sat, October 31, 1981 at the Schwartz-Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Eddie Bratton, Pastor of the Kalkaska Church of Christ, officiated. Burial was in Boardman Township Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
