Lee Helsel, 50, of South Boardman, passed away on Thu, Jun 17, 2010 surrounded by his family at home. Born on Jan 9, 1960 in Kalkaska, he is the son of Jack and Dorothy (Hicks) Helsel.
Lee married Amber Johnson on Oct 31, 1988 in Kalkaska. His hobbies included fishing, two tracking, having family cookouts, collecting M&M trinkets, and enjoying his grandchildren and dogs.
Lee is survived by his wife, Amber; his children, SarahLea Marie (Butch Keckler) Helsel, and Auther Levi Helsel, all of South Boardman; his grandchildren, Robert, Richard, Rian, Paytian, and Drake; his siblings, Jack (Kathy) Helsel of Fife Lake, Tim (Donna) Helsel of South Boardman, Pat (Randy) Webb of Fife Lake, Gloria (Lonnie) Murphy of South Boardman, Lynn (Deanna) Helsel of Fife Lake, Dawn (Don) Holmes of Fife Lake, and Joyce (Todd) Gasperini of Kalkaska; and many nieces and nephews.
Lee was preceded in death by his father, Jack L Helsel, and his brother, William Helsel.
Visitation will be on Sun, Jun 20 from 3 to 5 pm at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home. The funeral service is on Mon at 11 am at the funeral home with Pastor Dan Ingersoll of Eden Bible Church officiating.
