Lawrence Kalagian, 81, of Fife Lake, died Tue, Nov 5, 1991 at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Mr. Kalagian moved to Fife Lake 12 years ago from Lincoln Park. Prior to his retirement in 1968, he was employed by the Allied Chemical Company. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Mr. Kalagian was born in Branford, Ontario on Jan 25, 1910 to Michael and Armendi DerKirkorian Kalagian. On Apr 18, 1931, in Detroit, he was married to Theresa Sigmond who survives.
Also surviving are one son, Elmer Sigmond of Lincoln Park; one grandson, Thomas Sigmond, of CO; two great grandchildren, Zachary and Tory Sigmond of CO; one sister, Mary Sarafian of St. Catherine, Ontario; four nephews and one niece.
Two brothers, George and Chester preceded him in death.
Thursday friends called at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska and funeral services were held at St. Paul Lutheran Church Fri, Nov 8, 1991.
Additional visitation was held at the Solosy Funeral Home in Lincoln Park and a second service was held at the funeral home Nov 11, 1991. Burial was at the Glen Eden Cemetery in Livonia.
