Mrs. Laura R. Doe, 79, a resident of Kalkaska since 1990, died early Thursday morning, Aug 8, 1991 at Grand Traverse Community Hospital.
Mrs. Doe resided in Milford prior to moving to Kalkaska. She was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Kalkaska, the Kalkaska Lioness Club, and the Mancelona Moose Club.
She was born in Detroit on Sep 30, 1911 to John and Mary Farrand Campau.
On Aug 6, 1932, in Lincoln Park, she was married to Jay A. Doe who survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, Wilfred Doe of Belleville and Jay R. Doe of Clyde; one brother, Ambrose Campau of Florida; six grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
Nine brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Sat, Aug 10, 1991, at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church in Kalkaska Fr. Patrick J. Barrett officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
