Laura Ann King, 32, of Kalkaska, died Sun, Mar 9, 1997, at her home.
Laura resided in Warren until 1971, when she moved to Kalkaska. She was the 1981 Miss Kalkaska, and a 1982 graduate of Kalkaska High School. She attended Northwestern Michigan College, and had worked as a certified nursing assistant at several area nursing homes. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, and enjoyed bowling, car races and family activities.
Laura was born in Mt. Clemens on Aug 20, 1964, to Richard and P. Ann (Kiser) King.
Surviving are her mother, P. Ann King of Kalkaska; sisters Debra (Drew) Reeves of CA and Sandra (David) Creighton of Torch River; fiance Steven Kimball, and his children, Brandon, Kyle, and Danielle of Kalkaska; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Memorial services will be held at 11 am Mar 14 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Kalkaska. Rev. Ted Turanski will officiate. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in the spring.
Friends may call at the church at the time of services.
