Larry Dean Strouse, 63, of South Boardman passed away on Thu, Nov 18, 2004, with his family by his side at home.
Larry was born on May 5, 1941, in Clare County, the son of Willis and Mildred (Langworthy) Strouse. He married Jean A Bieberbach on Aug 18, 1983, in Fife Lake.
Larry enjoyed farming the old fashioned way with mules. He loved working outdoors, farming and using heavy equipment. He also enjoyed making maple syrup.
Larry was a member of the Kalkaska United Methodist Church. Larry loved his family immensely.
Surviving Larry is his beloved Jean, his wife of 21 years; children, Brian Strouse of Colorado, Tammy Strouse of Coleman, Jermey Strouse of Battle Creek, Kathleen (George) Chamberlain of Coleman, Angie (Bruce) Calleberg of British Columbia, Canada, Allyn (Bethany) Strouse, Casey Strouse, Patrick Strouse, and Kyleigh Strouse, all of South Boardman; four grandchildren; mother, Mildred Strouse of Salem, MO; brothers and sisters, Harold (Marilynn) Strouse of Grayling, Helen (Carl) Daivs of Dewitt, MO, Carol (Connie) Strouse of Clare, Margaret (Orval) Hubel of Lake George, Kathleen (Jerry) Sepherd of Linn, MO, and Phyllis (Jim) Crocker and Mike Strouse, all of Salem, MO.
PReceeding Larry in death was his father, Willis Strouse; son, Darrin Strouse;and sister, Joanne Strouse.
The memorial service was held on Mon, Nov 22, at the Kalkaska United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Robert Stark officiating.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
