Kirk W. Clarkson, 72, died October 6, 1992 in his home.
He was the son of the late Orville and Anna Clarkson. He was born November 20, 1919 in Brown City.
He married Erma G. Turner August 1, 1941 in Imlay City.
He was a WWII Veteran of the Navy and was a retired employee of General Motors and a farmer.
He had life membership with the Sanilac County Sheriff’s Posse; Sheriff’s Association of Michigan; Michigan Justin Morgan Horse Association.
He is survived by his wife; one son, Ronald of Caro; two daughters; Sharon (Leon) Garwold of Lapeer and Karen Dawson of Southfield; four sisters, Lula Ducket of Applegate, Ora Winters of Sandusky, Zelda Ferrell and Iona Campbell both of Independence MO; seven grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Cyril and two sisters, Carol Green and Thurley Lord.
Services were held in the Pomeroy Funeral Home, Croswell. Rev. Steve Runyan of New Hope Community Church officiated.
