Kenneth Elmer Ream, 66, of 1040 N. Union St. died at 8 am Monday at his home.
He was born April 19, 1912, in Ada, the son of Marion and Ethel Ream. He married the former Johnnie Hazelwood who survives.
Mr. Ream was a retired machinist for Teledyne Ohio Steel. He was an U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include two sons, Donald H. Ream of Wapakoneta and Jerry A. Ream of Ada; one stepson, Albert M. Childers with the US Army in Germany; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Colene) Spillman of Waynesfield and Mrs. Robert (Ruth E) Firemoth of 737 Mackenzie Drive; one stepdaughter, Mrs. Ruby Allman of California; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three brothers, Garner Ream and Marion Ream, both of Ruskin, Fla., and Jack Ream of Lima; and two sisters, Mrs. Vivian Carpenter of Kenton and Mrs. Willard (Una Evelyn) Barnett of Dunkirk.
Services will be at 1 pm Thursday at Chiles and Sons, Lima West Wayne Street chapel, Rev. Willard Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Dunkirk Cemetery.
