Kenneth Conley Taylor, 85, a WWII vet, of Summferfield, FL died June 30, 2007 at Ocala Health and Rehab. Born June 13, 1922 in Traverse City, MI he was the son of William and Esther (Ayers) Taylor, on June 21, 1942 he married Leah Basch. He is survived by their three children: Linda(Larry) Golden of Saginaw, MI, Bill (Rose) Taylor of Winter Park, FL and Karen King of Traverse City, MI. In 1958 he married Georgia B. McGuire. She preceded him in 2004. They have two sons: Tim and Tom Taylor of Flint, MI. Besides his children he is survived by a special sister, Loretta Johnson of Greenville, MI. He was predeceased by his siblings, an infant sister, Fred, Pete, Wilber, Mildred, Harold and Lee. He retired from General Motors in Flint, MI in June of 1987. He was of the Baptist Faith, enjoyed his garden, wood crafts and working with the seniors at his church. Private graveside services will take place at Crum cemetery, in Summerfield. Hodges Family Funeral Home, Dade City, FL was in charge of arrangements.
