Kelley K. Krieger, 45, of Kalkaska, passed away on May 22, 2007, at Munson Medical Center. He was born July 1, 1961, in Ypsilanti, the son of Donald and Marlene (Duncan) Krieger of Jackson.
Formerly of Jackson, Michigan, Kelley attended Chelsea High School. On October 5, 1991, he married Dawn Allen in Jackson. They moved to Kalkaska in 1996, and for the past four years, Kelley has been employed by Pro-Select.
Kelley enjoyed hunting and fishing and was an all around outdoorsman. He was a wonderful and loving husband and father. Kelley was greatly looking forward to becoming a grandfather for the first time to Fiona Sage Lowe who is expected soon. He was a true friend to all and will be deeply missed.
Surviving Kelley is his wife of 15 years, Dawn; his parents, Donald and Marlene of Jackson; his daughters, Ashley N. (Ross Lowe) Krieger and Aleysha J. Krieger, both of Kalkaska; siblings, Kevin K. (Tina Mays) Krieger of Munith, Dawn L. (Mike) Birchmeier of Lennon, and Edward L. Krieger of Santa Rosa, CA; and niece Laura Mikedis.
Visitation for Kelley was on May 25, 2007, at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Funeral services were on Saturday at the Kalkaska United Methodist Church with the Reverend Robert Stark officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
