Keith W. Bridson, 76, of Fife Lake, passed away on May 11, 2017. He was born on his family’s farm in Bloomfield Township on May 10, 1941 to the late Elmer and Thelma (Young) Bridson.
Keith was a steward of the Earth, and family was everything to him. He was caring and nurturing not only to his family and friends, but all of God’s creation. Much of his life was spent as a logger, but he always said he planted more trees than he ever cut. He was a farmer at heart and his passion and expertise with cars was well known throughout the area.
During his life he co-owned B&B Auto in Fife Lake, volunteered with the local fire department, planted trees for the State of Michigan and served in the US Army from 1963 to 1965.
Keith will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 50 years, Linda (Huff) Bridson; son, Craig (Amy) Bridson; daughter, Ali (Glen) Bridson-Ruzynski; grandchildren: Falissa (Jordan) Richter, Becca (Nick) Carstens, Mae (Jordan) Bradford, Katie and Elise; great grandchildren, Logan, Jaiden, Norah, Isaac, and Hudson; sister, Ruth Meuwenberg; brother, Bernie (Ann Marie) Bridson; and many nieces and nephews.
Awaiting him for a joyous celebration of eternal life are his parents; brother, Richard; sister, Kay; infant brother, James; and infant daughter, Baby Girl Bridson.
The family expresses a special thank you to the staff at Munson Medical Center and Munson Hospice.
A memorial service will take place on Sat, May 20, 2017, from noon to 3pm at the American Legion Hall in Fife Lake. Please bring your favorite memory of Keith and your favorite dish to pass. Let’s celebrate Keith!
