Kathryn Brewster, of Finksburg died September 3 at her home.
Born in Winfield Twp., MI, she was the daughter of the late George and Bertha Teske. She was the beloved wife of Graydon D. Brewster, who died in 1983.
After her marriage in 1950, Mrs. Brewster traveled around the world teaching. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at Michigan State University.
She was very active in the United Methodist Church throughout her life as a Sunday School Teacher and choir member. She was also active in supporting the Boy and Girl scouts, as well as the band and choral boosters in both Westminster and Liberty High schools. She was a supporter of arts and enjoyed music, literature, and nature.
Mrs. Brewster is survived by her children, David S. Brewster, Elisabeth A. Brewster, and Frances L. Lipe, and by her grandchildren, Alaina C. and Jonathan Brewster. Also survived by sisters Uyvonne Johnson and Deloris Davenport.
A memorial service was held at Reisterstown United Methodist Church on Sept 10, 2004.
