Kathryn Driggett, 84, of Rapid City passed away Oct 5, 2001, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City. She was born Aug 3, 1917, in Rapid City to George and Vere Underhill.
She married Russell Driggett on May 20, 1939. They were married 39 years and hand nine children. She loved her family and gardening.
Surviving are daughters, Helen Kay Buchan of Traverse City, Dianna (Kelly) Seeley of Kalkaska, Jacquelynn E (Robert) Hulett of Traverse City, Betty Ann (Don) Perrin of Fife Lake, Mona Sue (Stephen) Saunders of Rapid City; son Charles J (Teresa) Driggett of Rapid City; brother, William (Rose) Underhill of Rapid City; sisters, Jeanne (John) Kerr of Lansing, Ida (Raymond) Linderleaf of Rapid City; 36 grandchildren and 39 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Russell in 1974; children, Russell Lee in 1990, George William in 1966, Kathleen in 1934; brothers, Jack Underhill and George Underhill; and granddaughter, Loretta Hulett Lentz in 1998.
A memorial service honoring Kathryn will be held at 10 am Sat, Oct 13 at Clearwater Township Hall. Tim Hall, Pastor of Rapid City Church of Christ, will officiate. Immediately following there will be a luncheon.
Memorials may be made in behalf of Kathryn Driggett to Rapid City Elementary PTO.
