Katherine M. Monhead, 69, of Kalkaska, died Sat, Mar 2, 1991, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
She moved to Kalkaska from Fife Lake in 1967. She enjoyed puzzles and games.
Mrs. Monhead was born Sep 7, 1921 in Ypsilanti to William and Laura (Houser) Peeless. On May 7, 1943 in Grand Marais, she married Irvin Monhead, who preceded her in death on May 16, 1978.
Surviving are one son, John Monhead of Kalkaska; two daughters, Doris Monhead and Judy Lash both of Kalkaska; one sister, Ravina Monhead of Fife Lake; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Dorothy Rosenberg and one grandson.
Funeral services were held Tue, Mar 5, 1991 at the Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska. Rev. Paul Karges, pastor of the Peoples Church in Kalkaska, officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska.
