Katherine B Zabriskie, 88, of Kalkaska, passed away May 26, 2008 at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center, LTC. She was born Dec 30, 1919 in Lansing to the late Robert and Bertha (VanOrden) Baldwin.
Katherine married William A. Zabriskie Feb 18, 1939. Together they raised two wonderful children. They moved to Kalkaska from Birmingham in 1984. Katherine is a past member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary of Pontiac, MI.
Katherine is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, William; her devoted children, Katherine E Zabriskie of Davis, WV and William F (Irene) Zabriskie of Caledonia; 4 cherished grandchildren, Irene (Jeff) Voss of Plainwell, Daniel (Amy) Lynch of Wyoming, Robert James Zabriskie of Grand Rapids, and Nieske Lynn Zabriskie of Grand Rapids; and 7 precious great grandchildren.
Visitation was Fri, May 30, 2008 from 5 to 8 pm at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home. The funeral service was Sat at 11 am at the funeral home with Father Bryant Dennison of the Grace Episcopal Church officiating.
