June S. Ford, 63 of Berea, OH, and formerly of Kalkaska, passed away peacefully on Mar 22, 2006, at the Munson Hospice House in Traverse City.
June was the beloved mother of Robert A Ford Jr of Traverse City, Charles (Gayla) Arthur of Ft Worth, TX, Timothy (Sharra) Ford of Fife Lake, David (Raquel) Ford of Colorado Springs, CO, Richard (Melissa) Ford of Kalkaska and Susan (Carol Livesay) Ford of Traverse City; loved grandmother of 17 grandchildren; loved sister of Marie Udell of Avon Lake, OH, Helen Matlack of Berea, OH, and Ruth Adams of Olmsted Township, OH; and loved aunt to several nieces and nephews.
Born on Sep 7, 1942, in Cleveland, OH, June was the daughter of the late William and Lucinda (Johnson) Arthur.
June married Robert A. Ford on Jun 22, 1971, in Cleveland. She was a resident of Berea, OH, since 1990 moving from Kalkaska.
June enjoyed being a homemaker and loved spending time with family and friends. She was nicknamed "Junie" by her beloved sisters. June loved the Kalkaska area and was just brought home 10 days ago.
Preceding June in death is her husband, Robert; her parents; and brothers, Guy Arthur, Charles Arthur, and John Arthur.
Visitation and funeral services were held at the Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home, with Jeff Badgero of the Kalkaska Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery.
