June Emily Billings, 80, of Fife Lake passed away on Apr 11, 2005, at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City.
Born on May 2, 1924 in Detroit, her parents were William and Mary (Patton) Caddick.
June married Charles W. Billings on Oct 30, 1954, in Mount Pleasant. Charles preceded her in death in 1997. They were residents of Fife Lake since 1967.
June was the past president of the Fife Lake American Legion Post 219 Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed bingo, bowling, golf, and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving June are her children, Gail S Fargo of Florence, SC, Sandy K (Ed) Westveer of Manton, Linda S Ingersoll of Fife Lake, Valerie A (Randy) Birgy of Fife Lake, Terry D (Jeff) Lutzke of Kalkaska, Lee W Billings of Fife Lake, and Scott and (Virginia) Billings of South Boardman; 23 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; sisters, Helen (Bob) Miller of Alto, Betty Mayer of Troy, and Noreen (Bill) Roelofs of Charlevoix.
Preceding June in death was her husband, Charles; her parents; and her brother, Wilbert Caddick.
Visitation was on Wed, Apr 13 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. The funeral service was held on Thu, Apr 14, at the funeral home with the Rev. Cal Meyers officiating. Interment will be at Fife Lake Cemetery.
