Julia Marie Lewis-Weaver, 71, died at 7 am Mon, Mar 14, 2011 at Miller’s Merry Manor in Marion, IN.
She was born in Hartford City on Aug 25, 1939 to the late Bertran B Day and Frances a (Bauer) Day.
Julia was a very active member of Calvary Christian the Lighthouse Church in Hartford City. She belonged to the Primetimers Sunday School Class. She was a Charter Member of Calvary Christian Church. She was a Prayer Leader and a very strong woman of Faith and a Devote Christian.
She married her first husband, John Frederick “Fred” Lewis on Aug 25, 1956. He preceded her in death on Mar 22, 1980.
Julia married her second husband, John Henry Weaver, in 1985 in Kentucky. He precedes her in death on Mar 28, 2001.
Julia will be sadly missed by her sons, Steve Lewis of Marion; James W. “Jamie” (wife, Gail M) Lewis of Hartford Cit; Retired Master Sergeant Timothy D (wife, Glenna) Lewis of Palmer, AK; daughter, Lisa D (husband, Rea) Garrett of Summitville; grandchildren, Julie Garrett, Laura (husband, Aaron) Ray, Brant L Harter, Raymond Lewis, Andrew Lewis, Anthony Lewis, Kevin Lewis, Jacob Lewis, Joshua (wife, Jade) Michael, Melissa Michael, Dawn Scher, Shawn (wife, Becky) Willmann, Matthew (wife, Kelly) Willmann; brother, John K (wife, Terry) McVicker of Hartford City; brother in law, Clayton Ford of Hartford City; many valued dear friends; several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband; her 2nd husband; sister, Barbara Ford and brother, Cecil Don McVicker.
Memorial service will be at 5 pm Wed, Mar 16, 2011 at Calvary Christian the Lighthouse Church, 2101 N. Walnut St, Hartford City, IN 47348 with Rev. Chris Neel officiating. Memorial visitation will be from 2:30 to 5 pm at the church.
Julia will be cremated.
Keplinger Funeral Home, 509 N. High St. Hartford City is in charge of arrangements.
