Juanita R. Greenman, 79, of Lake Columbia, formerly of Kalkaska, died Dec 16, 1997.
Juanita retired from the Kalkaska Public Schools teaching at a one room schoolhouse grades one through eight. She had a masters degree in special education. Before working in Kalkaska, she taught for many years at the Allen School in Jackson as an elementary teacher as well as special education for the blind. She also spent her summers teaching Braille at the University of Wisconsin and Michigan State University.
She is survived by her son Arthur (Gayle) Greenman of Brooklyn; and grandchildren Sheri, Craig, Scott, and Kelli Greenman.
Her husband, Karl; preceded her in death on Dec 28, 1993.
Services will be held at the chapel at Evergreen Cemetery in Kalkaska on Sat, Dec 27, at 11 am.
