Joyce Ann Forwerck, 51, of Kalkaska, went home to be with the Lord Jul 11, 1998, after her brave fight with breast cancer.
Joyce was born in Monroe on May 4, 1947 ,the daughter of Retha (Kelly) Sparks and Donald Rorke.
She is survived by her long time friend, Cheryl Bullard of Kalkaska; daughter Christen (Casey) Ellis of Mio; father Donald Rorke of Monroe; sister Betty (Butch) Burt of Monroe; brothers Mike Rorke of Monroe and Wayne Heneger of Toledo, OH; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Her mother, Retha Sparks preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Jul 14 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Pastor Bill Jones officiated. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery, Kalkaska. Memorials may be made to Munson Hospice.
