Mrs. Joyce A. Tracey, 63, of Kalkaska died Sep 7, 1998, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Tracey had been a lifelong resident of Kalkaska County./ She was a loving and giving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend to many. She was a member of the Evergreen Bible Baptist Church, and enjoyed crafts and flowers.
Mrs. Tracey was born in Ottawa County on Aug 1, 1935, to Vernon Moss and Orcellia Sherwood.
On Dec 15, 1950, in Kalkaska, she was united in marriage with Henry Tracey.
Surviving are her husband Henry; sons Vernon (Margaret), Danny (Valarie), and David (Sue) Tracey, all of Kalkaska, and Sam (Shirley) Tracey of Mancelona; daughters Frances Elkins (Dave Pluszczynski) of Wet Palm Beach, FL, and Connie (Jon) Turnbull of Kalkaska; mother Orcellia Goldberg of Grand Haven; brothers Herman Moss of Spring Lake and Robert (Gloria) McManamie of Muskegon; sisters Barbara Whipple of Grand Haven and Cleo (David) Aurich of Nunica; 29 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A daughter, Loretta, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Sep 10 at the Evergreen Bible Baptist Church. Rev. William Kuiper officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
Arrangements were made by Wolfe Funeral Home, Kalkaska.
