Joseph T. Ligman, 84, of South Boardman, died Fri, Nov 6, 1992 at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mr. Ligman resided in Grand Rapids prior to moving to South Boardman in 1970. He was a retired employee of the Jerecke Brothers Furniture Company in Grand Rapids.
Mr. Ligman was born in Madison, WI, on Mar 19, 1908. He was married on Feb 14, 1931 to Thelma Smith who preceded him in death. On Apr 15, 1971, in Fife Lake, he was married to Florence Hall who died on Jan 8, 1992.
Surviving are one daughter, Marilyn Laham of Fife Lake; one step son Carl Hall of AZ; one step daughter, Lucille Miller of South Boardman; one step daughter in law, Beverly Hall of South Boardman; one brother, Benjamin Ligman of WI; six grandchildren; two step grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and one great great grandson.
Funeral services were held Sun, Nov 8, 1992 at the Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska. Rev Ted Turanski, pastor of St. Paul Lutheran Church, officiated.
Interment services were held Mon, at the Chapel of Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens in Grand Rapids.
