Joseph P. Goeb, 72, Route 1, died Saturday at Barron Community Hospital.
He was born in Chicago and married Mary Stazy on Aug 30, 1932, in Washington D.C. they lived in Oak Park, IL, where he was an insurance salesman, before moving to Chetek eight years ago.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, John, Joseph, both of Oak Park, IL, James, Steamwood, IL, Jerome, Warrenville, IL; 14 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Chetek, with burial in the church cemetery.
Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at Burnham Funeral Home, Chetek, where a Knights of Columbus service will be at 6 p.m. and a prayer service at 8 p.m. today.
