Joseph A. Morgan, 92, died Saturday in his home at 5442 Fargo Rd, Avoca, after a long illness.
He was born Apr 20, 1865, in Bellview, Ont, Canada.
Mr. Morgan is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Florence Lawrence, Ferndale, MI, Mrs. Arnold Gerds, Mrs. Ace Wixson and Miss Agnes Morgan, all three are from Avoca; six sons, Alvin Morgan, Albert Morgan, Eldwin Morgan, Dan Morgan, and Jack Morgan; a sister, Mrs. Fred Mason, 19 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren all from Avoca.
Remains are in the Jones funeral Home, Avoca, where services will be held at 2pm Tuesday.
Rev. Lynford A. McDonald, pastor of the Gospel Rescue Mission Church, will officiate.
Burial will be in Springhill Cemetery.
