Joseph A. biernacki, 84, of Kalkaska, died Thu, Aug 26, 1999, at his residence.
Mr. Biernacki resided in Detroit prior to moving to Kalkaska County in 1974. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and was employed by Chrysler Corporation for 4o years before his retirement.
Born in Detroit on Nov 3, 1914, he is the son of John and Frances Kowalinski Biernacki. He was married to Genevieve Nowosad, who preceded him in death in 1961. In 1963 in Detroit, he married Jennie Biernacki, who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by sons James Biernacki of Clinton Township and Tom Biernacki of Kalkska; stepdaughter Dorothy (Glen) Henderson of Shelby Township; stepsons Casimer (Marian) Biernacki of Warren and Jerome (Christina) Biernecki of Warren; step daughter-in-law, Tillie Biernacki of Warren; sister Irene Sagan of Sterling Heights; and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Stepson Edmund Biernacki preceded him in death.
Memorial services were Aug 28 at Wolfe Funeral Home in Kalkaska; Father Patrick Barrett officiated.
