John Wiltzer, 63, of Fife Lake, R1 died Sat at Traverse City Osteopathic Hospital after a lingering illness.
Funeral services were held today at Lucas Rehoboth Reformed Church, Rev. James Bos officiating with burial in Cadillac Maple Hill Cemetery. A McBain funeral home was in charge of funeral arrangements.
Mr. Wiltzer was born May 27, 1907 at Byron Center, became a Cadillac resident about 1935 and had been a Fife Lake resident about six years.
On Sept 28, 1933 at Byron Center he was married to Wilma Winchester, who survives.
Also surviving are: two sons, Clyde of McBain, and John J. of Traverse City; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Betty) Waite of Mason and Nancy Long of Scottville; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren; four brothers, Rhine of Middleville, Henry of Byron Center, Jay of Grand Rapids, and Bernard of Caledonia; and five sisters, Mrs. Gerrit (Ann) DeMann of Wayland, Mrs. Earl (Elizabeth) Gamble of Grand Rapids, Henrietta Knapp of Ludington, Mrs. Russell (Gertrude) Dean of Byron Center and Mrs. Edward (Katherine) Winchester of Middleville.
