John W. Jackson, 65, of Manton, MI, father of Leo Jackson of 296 South Union and of Mrs. Dorothy Laxton and Florence Jackson, bot of 67 Lansing Avenue, died in a local hospital at 11:20 am Monday. Mr. Jackson had been an employee of the Grand Trunk railroad for more than 30 years and had been n ill health since retiring four years ago. His wife, Elizabeth, died here in 1949. In addition to his son and two daughters living in Battle Creek, he is survived by another daughter, Mrs. James (Mary) Bramble of Route 1, Ceresco, and a grandson, Crop. Charles Bosher, stationed at Camp Breckinridge, KY.
