John W VanAtta, 78, Route 1, Ada, retired farmer and Liberty township trustee for 32 years, died Mon night in Lima Memorial hospital.
Mr. Van Atta was the father of Mrs. Jack Mulholland, Fremont. His other survivors are his wife, the former Lillian Fricks, whom he married in 1948, after his first wife, Grace Elza died in 1944; daughters, Mrs. Willis Moe, Findlay, and Mrs. Paul Walgomet, Indianapolis, IN; six sons, Willard, Harold, Lloyd, Paul, and John, all of Ada, and Donald, Mesa, AZ; four stepdaughters; three stepsons; two sisters, two brothers; 34 grandchildren, and 10 great grandchildren.
Services will be Thu at 2 pm in the Hanson Mortuary.
