John T. Joseph, 70, of 71321 Memphis Ridge Road, died Monday in Mt. Clemens General Hospital after a long illness.
He was born Jan. 23, 1901, in Braddock, Pa., the son of the late John and Matilda Joseph.
Mr. Joseph married Harriet Bernard June 19, 1937.
A retired farmer he had lived the last 46 years in Richmond. He was the Richmond township treasurer for 30 years. A life member of the Detroit Lodge No. 2 of the F. & A.M., he also was a member of the Columbus Farmers Club.
He is survived by his widow.
Remains are in the Hensch Memorial Chapel Funeral Home, Richmond where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday. Rev. Richard Meyers, of the United Methodist Church, Richmond, will officiate.
Burial will be in Richmond Cemetery.
