John L Rayment, 31, of Merritt and Kalkaska, died at Munson Medical Center in Traverse City Jan 8, 1998.
Mr. Rayment was born Mar 4, 1966, in Grayling to Glen and Geraldine Rayment. He graduated from Houghton Lake High School in 1984. He was employed for the past three years by CH & P Drilling Co. of South Boardman. He was an avid hunter and a member of the Moddersville Coon Club.
He is survived by his parent, son Joshua James, brothers Robert Rayment of Houghton Lake and Glen Rayment Jr of Lake City; sisters Roberta Whalen of Sparta and Mary Faunce of Port Orchard, WA; fiancee Lynn Robinson and children Matthew, Michelle, and Marie, all of Kalkaska.
Funeral services were held Jan 10 at the Young Funeral Home in Lake City. Pastor Brent Bontrager officiated.
Burial was at Aetna Township Cemetery, Missaukee County.
