John J “Jack” Fenstermaker, 84, died Thu, Aug 8, 2002.
A Mass for him and his wife Lucy, will be at 4:30 pm EDT Mon at Good Shephard Catholic Church, 4665 Thomasville Rd. A reception for family and friends will be held in the church’s Community Center following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd, Tallahassee, FL 32308.

He was born in Columbus, OH, on Feb 27, 1918, and was a graduate of the Ohio State University School of Business. Before retiring in 1979, he was senior vice president for marketing at McKesson and Robbins, a pharmaceutical company, and later was president of Jack Fenstermaker Associates, a consulting firm.
He held many offices in professional associations, including the presidency of the National Wholesale Druggists Association.
After many years in Chicago, New York, and San Francisco, he and his wife moved to Tallahassee in Jun 2000. Married 62 years, he preceded his wife in death by 17 days.
He is survived by his only child, John J Fenstermaker (and wife Cherie) of Tallhassee; grandson, Scott Fenstermaker (and wife Sandy) of Tallahassee, and their four children, Paul, Erica, Mindy, and Jill; granddaughter, Laura Fenstermaker of St Paul, MN; and granddaughter Sara Fenstermaker Barber (and husband Jon) of Tallahassee, and their two children, Jackson and Collin; three sisters, Nancy Fenstermaker of Nashville, TN, Mary Lee Butts of Columbus, OH, and Violete Herschler (and husband Hays) of Lansdale, PA; a brother, Dick Fenstermaker of Columbus; and many nieces and nephews.
