John F. Osmun, 86, of 318 Irving St, SE, retired tanning company employee, died Tue.
Born in Greenville, Mr. Osmun moved to Grand Rapids 37 years ago. Before his retirement in 1934 he was employed at the Kiefer Tanning Co. 10 years and before that by the Phoenix Furniture Co.
He leaves a son, Claude E. Sr. of Grand Rapids; a sister, Mrs. Bertha Lyscombe of Edmore, five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2pm Thur in the Metcalf chapel with Dr. Frederick Wyngarden officiating. Burial will be in Rosedale Memorial Park.
