John David Kimball, 64 of Rapid City, died Jan 15, 2002, at Kalkaska Memorial Health Center. He was born Apr 15, 1937, in Detroit to Neil and Margaret (Stander) Kimball.
John was a veteran of the US Air Force. He married Mary Longton Apr 13, 1968, in Kewadin. He had lived in Rapid City since 1948, and was the owner of Clearwater Tool Company and a member of Rapid City Church of Christ.
He is survived by Mary, his wife of 31 years; children Yvonne (Phillip Jr) Nault of Traverse City, John V Kimball of TX, Bryan Kimball of Mancelona, William Kimball of TX, David J (Brandy Zeeryp) Kimball of Kingsley and Daniel J (Grace) Kimball of Rapid City; father Neil Kimball of Rapid City; and 10 grandchildren.
Visitation was held Jan 17 at Wolfe Funeral Home. The funeral service was Jan 18 at the funeral home. Timothy Hall, pastor of the Rapid City Church of Christ, officiated.
Memorials may be made in behalf of John Kimball to the Rapid City Church of Christ or the American Diabetes Foundation.
