John "Danny" Kimball, 72, of Marshall, Michigan, formerly of Kalkaska, passed away at the home of his sister in Dearborn Heights, on November 2, 2009.
He was born on August 9, 1937 in Kalkaska to John Carl and Ruah Gertrude (Hatley) Kimball.
Danny was a retired Detroit policeman. He had also been a truck driver and was a member of Teamster Local 299. Danny was a lifelong farmer.
Surviving Danny are his children, John Kimball of Ciresco and Terry Kimball of Inkster; his sister Loretta (Jim) Hamilton of Dearborn Heights; his brother, Mick (Linda) Kimball of Kalkaska; his grandchildren, Jackson and Ethan Kimball; and his mother Ruah Kimball.
Preceding Danny in death were his son, Andrew Kimball and his father, John C. Kimball.
Visitation for Danny will be held on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Wolfe-O'Neill Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Dan Johnson of Kalkaska Church of Christ officiating.
