John A. Anderson, 63, of Fife Lake, died Monday at his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Anderson was born March 5, 1936, in Cadillac, he was the son of Andrew Jole and Marie (Fortelka) Anderson. On May 16, 1995, in Las Vegas, he married Mae Kimball.
He served in the U.S. Army for three years and was employed as a graphic designer. Born and raised in Cadillac, he lived and worked in New York for 27 years. He was a member of the Moose Lodge of Kalkaska.
Surviving are his wife; children, Sarah (David) Burzillo of Natick, Mass., Kurt (Lisa) Anderson of Rowayton, Conn., Julie (Phil) Alexandrin of Storrs, Conn., Dianna Voice of Fife Lake and Kevin Kimball of Fife Lake; sister, Vera (Jerry) Ladd of Hillsdale; and ten grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson, Dasan.
A memorial service was Oct 23 at his Brimley residence.
