Mrs. Johanna L. Poli, 68 of South Boardman, died Mon, Nov 22, 1993, at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center.
Mrs. Poli resided in Melvindale until 1974, when she moved to Kalkaska County. She did Volunteer work at the Kalkaska Memorial Health Center, and was a member of St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and visiting her friends and shut-ins. Mrs. Poli was born in Detroit on May 15, 1925, to Anton and Johanna Haver Patti. On Jun 23, 1943, in Detroit, she was married to John Poli who preceded her in death on Mar 11, 1986.
Surviving are four sons, Leno Poli of Dearborn Heights, Angelo Poli of Traverse City, Antonio Poli of Kalkaska, and Mario Poli of Mancelona; one daughter, Mrs. Judith Frederick of Romulus; and 11 great grandchildren.
One sister, Mary Warren, preceded her in death.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Wed, Nov 24, 1993, at St. Mary of the Woods Catholic Church. Father Patrick J. Barrett officiated. Burial was in Lodi Cemetery, Kalkaska County.
